Meeting with the Australian Ambassador in Lviv: Discussing Educational Partnership Opportunities
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi and First Vice-Rector of UNBROKEN University Marta Mochulska held an official meeting with His Excellency Paul Lehmann, Ambassador of Australia to Ukraine. The discussion focused on the development of the city’s educational institutions during wartime. Particular attention was given to UNBROKEN University, which was established in response to the challenges of Russia’s full-scale invasion and is dedicated to developing new professional competencies for Ukraine’s recovery and resilience.
During the meeting, the participants emphasized that despite the considerable geographical distance between Ukraine and Australia, education and science know no borders. Strengthening cooperation in these fields was identified as an important opportunity for both countries. The parties agreed to continue discussions and explore pathways for direct collaboration between UNBROKEN University and leading Australian higher education institutions.

Marta Mochulska also shared Ukraine’s experience of resilience and the adaptation of its educational system under wartime conditions. The participants agreed that Ukraine’s experience of maintaining and transforming educational processes during war represents a unique case of global significance. In this context, it was noted that UNBROKEN University is not only seeking support from international institutions but is also ready to contribute its own expertise, practical knowledge, and solutions to Australian partners.
